Stewardship is an important part of St. Mary School. Students participate in monthly activities each with a different focus: veterans, sick children, the hungry, the needy, the disabled and more. Eighth grade students lead a combined group of students from Kindergarten through seventh grade in the monthly activities, which are designed to give students a deeper understanding of the needs and challenges associated with that month’s particular focus. Based on these focuses, the students also participate in service projects with various organizations in our community. Some of the organizations St. Mary School has worked with or made donations to include: Ronald McDonald House, Our Lady of Nazareth school in Nairobi, Berea Church Street Ministries, the Veterans Hospital, Westside Catholic Center and Scranton Road Church.
